INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE “CONTRIBUTIONS OF TERMIZ SCHOLARS TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE WORLD CIVILIZATION”

 CALL FOR PAPERS

  In order to ensure the implementation of paragraph 8 – Development of cooperation with the Research Centre for Islamic History, Art and Culture (IRCICA) under the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC)“Road Map,” approved by Decree No. 14 / 1-2700 of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 11, 2021; Imam Termizi International Scientific-Research Centerin cooperation with the Research Centre for Islamic History, Art and Culture (IRCICA) will organizean online,international scientific and practical conference entitled “Contributionsof TermizScholars to the Development of World Civilization” on July 5, 2022, in Termiz, Uzbekistan.

The Conference will FeatureFollowing Themes:

1. Development of Islam and Islamic Schools in TermizRegion

2. The Contributionsof Imam Termizi to the Development of the Science of Hadith

3. History of the TermizSchoolsinTasawwuf

4. History of Science

5. Cultural and Architectural Heritage

6. Art of Islamic Calligraphy and Islamic Manuscripts

7. Crafts

8. Intercultural Relations

 Articles and presentations can be submitted in Uzbek, Arabic, Russian, English, and Turkish. The time limit for the presentation is 15 minutes. Based on the results of the international conference, proceedings of the conference will be published. Articles and reports are accepted in electronic form until June 10, 2022.

 Guidelinesfor the Preparation of Articles and Presentations:

 1. The first line indicates the title of the topic in two languages (in the language of the presentation and English), on the second line – name, patronymic, surname, academic degree and title of the speaker, on the third line – the speaker’s institution, position, and then –speaker’scontacts.

2. The list of used sources and literature follows the text.

3. In the text of the article, references are given in square brackets indicating the number of the source of information from the list of sources and literature, and the number(s) of the cited page(s) in the following form: [7: 85].

4. An abstract in English consisting at least 150 words will be attached to the article.
