Оn the international scientific conference: " Imam Bukhari, Darimi and Termizi: The School of Muhaddith of Mawarannahr "

About the conference: In order to ensure the implementation of paragraph 25 of Annex 2 “On measures to accelerate the development of cooperation with the Turkic states in the field of tourism”, approved by Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 338 of July 29, 2022, a scientific and practical conference was being held on the topic “Imam Bukhari, Darimi and Termizi: The School of Muhaddith of Mawarannahr” on 23 November 2023 in Termez, Uzbekistan.

In recent years, with the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the benevolent actions carried out on the scientific basis of the deep study of the heritage of our ancestors, the preservation of our national values, and their further development are gaining importance in increasing the prestige of Uzbekistan in the world community, in educating our youth in the spirit of respect for our national values and love for the motherland. 

As a logical continuation of these noble initiatives, in cooperation with the Religious Affairs Committee, the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Imam Termizi International Scientific Research Center, Surkhandarya Regional Government and other relevant ministries and organizations, an international scientific conference on the subject of " Imam Bukhari, Darimi and Termizi: The School of Muhaddith of Mawarannahr" was organized.   

Representatives, well-known scholars, and experienced scientists from prestigious universities and research centers of our country, Turkey, Morocco, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, France, Russia, Iran, Algeria, Great Britain, Central Asian countries attended in this conference.

The conference organized in the following directions:

- History and scientific-spiritual environment of ancient Termiz;

- Samarkand and Bukhara are the land of great scholars;

-Development of hadith studies in Mawarannahr;

- The study of the works of Imam Bukhari in modern studies;

- The role of the heritage and works of Imam Dorimi in the development of hadith studies;

- Study of the scientific heritage of Imam Termizi and Termizi scholars.

The purpose of organizing the scientific conference is to reveal in detail the essence of the scientific heritage of Imam Bukhari, Darimi and Termizi, which has been studied since ancient times in the Islamic countries of the world, not only in our country, but also on a global scale, to describe the unique features of this heritage, to widely illuminate its advantages and educational significance, and protection of our people, especially the young generation, from foreign ideas and destructive views, as well as to promote the sphere of positive updates and changes that have been implemented in the religious and educational sphere in Uzbekistan in recent years.

It is also planned to develop international relations with scientists conducting research about our scholars in different countries.

The special features of the scientific heritage of Imam Bukhari, Darimi and Termizi and the educational significance today will serve as a scientific and practical platform for the international scientific conference.
